This is the beginning.
Actually it’s not really the beginning beginning. That happened back in 1981, when Pam and Dave became friends in high school.
This is the new beginning, when they reconnected exactly 30 years after high school. At first when they reconnected, Dave lived in the Midwest, more than 2,000 miles away from Pam, who was on the west coast.
Almost instantly they knew they needed to be together.
As they get reacquainted with each other and bringing each other up to speed on their interests and experiences, they have been making lots of notes. Their to-do list on Trello is growing out of control. Some items are fine as a list; others need space for more fleshing out.
In the summer of 2015, Dave quit his job to relocate to the west coast in order to be closer to Pam. They have big plans to explore (and check items off their list) every chance they get.
As they check off things on their to-do list, Pam realized it would be fun to have an easy way to share pictures and stories with family and friends, as well as anyone else who wants to get out more and explore the Pacific Northwest. Yes, they are on Facebook, Pinterest, G+, etc, but it is nice to have one place (this website) as a hub for everything: planning together, adding things to their calendar, sharing stuff after theydo it.
Everything.
This is the beginning.
