We stopped for the night in Port Angeles. What a charming town.
The next day, we drove past the breathtakingly beautiful Lake Crescent, wandered into the Hoh Rain Forest, and quietly tried to not surprise a large herd of grazing elk.

We marveled at the misty, foggy mountains on the left, and oyster farms and resort towns on the right. What a gorgeous area. I made a mental note to check out the resorts for a summer getaway, for some time in the future.
